Update on Cork Table

So I fixed my cork table that I was sooo excited about. I woke up and found it swollen, like a miniature skateboard park :

Now I understand what my dad was saying : ” Cork is soft wood ! You have to glue it to mdf then nail it onto your desk. ” But as you see, I still skipped the nailing part and did a full coverage wood glue instead. Rebellious. Hopefully, I don’t learn anything new this time.
