Upcycle Denim Dress : Front to Back

I turned this denim dress :

into a completely different style ! Boxy mini with pop-up collars :

and lots of fray to give it a DIY look 🙂

I switched the front to the back and turned the dress’s hem upside down.  This is a good project to practice shaping with darts. I added 2 back darts by using the original ones as a guide. The original dress has a wider front piece . If no darts are added, the back will be billowy. I adjusted the width so that both the front and back are the same.
