DIY a Messenger Bag ( sewing the flap)
A-ha ! I haven’t forgotten about this DIY. Here’s the part on sewing the messenger bag’s removable flap. Luckily, I still have a photo of my daughter’s black messenger bag. When you sew the webbing on the front, make sure to sew vertically ( where the red lines are ) to create the slots.
The easiest way to calculate where the buckles should lie is to stick the flap onto the bag’s body, put the buckles on and pin it onto the flap.
