Pochee U-shape Bag

Don’t you just love Japanese crafts book ? Most of the models in Pochee magazines dress in this style and they look so cute. If I were to dress up like that, complete with the bun, socks, scarf and all, my husband would probably drop me off at the nearest crazy farm.

The materials composition. Both of the fabric are rather thin, so  felt was used as interfacing to give it some body. The pattern is U-shaped , with the outside fabric a bit longer  since the top portion will have to roll back into the bag to hold the handles in place. You’ll also need to add a sturdy bag bottom for the bag to keep its rectangular shape.
