Re-fashion a Maxi Dress + Necklace DIY
I bought this maxi dress which makes me look like a burrito :
Whichever way I turn, my shape doesn’t change. However, when the length is shortened, it becomes totally wearable :
To find the length, I put on the dress and mark where I want the hem to land. Since this is a medium weight fabric, I wanted the hem to be thicker to match the style. I added 6 more cm to get a 5 cm hem. For thinner fabric, like cami-style ones, maybe 2-3 cm is enough. There’s also a necklace diy in the tutorial. It’s just sewing a cord onto the costume jewelry thingie. Today’s tutorial is extremely easy !
