DIY : Kanom Tokyo ( Tokyo Pancake)
It’s the Tokyo Pancake that can’t be found in Tokyo. This is a popular after school snack sold by street food vendors. Some said it came with Thai-Daimaru Department Store when it brought in the Doriyaki snacks. Then someone got creative and changed it’s look and taste to suit the locals. Some said it was an invented menu to sell hot pans. I don’t know, but it’s tasty !
The ones sold here either comes with a sweet filling ( egg custard, pandan cream, taro cream ) or a salty filling ( sausages , crab sticks, pork floss ).
