Tomato envy

Today’s post will be on the ‘garden’ category. I’ve been trying to grow veggies on my balcony with mixed success. I wish the above tomato plant is mine, but it belongs to my dad. He grows a row of them on his balcony and during tomato season, he gets basketful of tomatoes everyday. So, so envious.

I have one growing from the same seed packet ( seeda tomatoes for Thai papaya salads ). It gave me three precious tomatoes and I was so excited as I have never grown anything that turn into a fruit. I never ate them and I let them grow till they fell off, even the one that developed some kind of fungal butt crack disease. ( see below )
