How to Draft n Sew Felt Mangosteen + Updates

Hi , me again. I am moving posts from my Ko-fi page back here. I am surprised at how many projects I haven’t updated here. I love Ko-fi, especially the Ko-fi shop function. I can write wacky descriptions for my shop items. However, the donation’s button can’t be turned off. I found out recently from Stripe, that Thailand does not allow donation / crowdfunding type of payment. Bummer. The good thing is WordPress.com uses Stripe’s payment button so I can still link my PDFs to Stripe. All my hard work is not lost ! Long live WordPress.com !

Now to the felt mangosteens. I got very invested in this project. I wanted to impress my niece, though I don’t think she knows what a mangosteen is. The tutorial will show you how to draft the pattern, which can be adapted to make other spherical shape objects. The second half will show you how to cut and sew the mangosteen.

I also made a pattern for 2 sizes of mangosteen ( about 2.5″, 6.5 cm / 2″, 5 cm height )
