Opening an Etsy Store Part 2

If you haven’t read part 1, it was mostly about opening my shop and getting shut down 3 days later. Dark clouds over my head during that time. Not long after, I received an email on why my shop was shut down. I’m not suppose to divulge the details of the email, but overall, it was because I didn’t fill up all the infos which lead them to believe that I was reselling factory-made items.

If this happens to you, just reach out to Etsy’s support team ! Someone will get back to you and tell you what went wrong. ( read more about how to reinstate your Etsy store here , it’s on the bottom of the page ). Then you go prove that your item is truly handmade ! Links and photos are good. They are just being cautious and doing their part to weed off the resellers.

I still have a lot to do, taking photos, adding banners, learning how to sell. Right now my drink holder listing looks like this :

Please do visit my shop and if you order anything from me, I’ll drop in a mystery gift from my stash. Just leave me a message that you came from my blog !
